Willkie represented Insight Partners in the closing of its largest fund to date, which will be used to further its leading growth equity technology investment engine.

On April 3, Willkie client Insight Partners, a leading global private equity and venture capital firm, announced the close of its Fund XI at $9.5 billion, the firm's largest to date. The oversubscribed fund will be used to further its leading growth equity technology investment engine.

Since inception in 1995, Insight has seen its software-focused investment strategy drive increasing impact in the technology sector. The firm has invested over $19 billion in more than 400 companies worldwide, has participated in more than 40 IPOs and has raised through a series of funds more than $30 billion in capital commitments. Notable recent transactions include majority investments in Armis, Veeam, commercetools and Recorded Future, and minority investments in companies like SentinelOne, 6Sense, OneTrust, WalkMe and monday.com.

Insight’s Fund XI follows the firm's previous Fund X, which closed in 2018 at approximately $6.3 billion. Willkie advised Insight on the closing of Fund X as well.

The Willkie team on the current transaction was led by partners Morgan Elwyn and Arash Farhadieh, and included partner Hillel Jacobson and associates Kevin Kim, Colin Fulton and Tina Chan.
