Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), a Frankfurt, Germany-based private equity firm specializing in direct and fund of fund investments, acquired a stake in von Poll Immobilien GmbH (von Poll Immobilien), a leading real estate agency specializing in premium residential properties in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Founded in 2000, von Poll Immobilien is a real estate firm that has become one of the leading platforms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company's network today comprises some 300 offices across Germany and nine other European countries.
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG initiates closed-end private equity funds and invests alongside the DBAG funds in well-positioned mid-market companies with growth potential. DBAG focuses on those industry sectors where Germany's "Mittelstand" is particularly strong in international comparison. The DBAG Group manages and advises capital amounting to around €1.8 billion.
