Willkie represents IK in connection with the acquisition, through its IK Small Cap I Fund, of a significant minority stake in Third Bridge Group, a fast-growing primary research provider with a global footprint.

On August 2, Willkie client IK Investment Partners completed its previously announced acquisition, through its IK Small Cap I Fund, of a significant minority stake in Third Bridge Group, a fast-growing primary research provider with a global footprint. IK is an established client of the Paris office and this was the first investment by its small cap fund in the UK. Lending was provided by Permira.  The deal was announced on July 5.

With over 550 employees in six offices covering America, Asia and Europe, Third Bridge provides its clients with unique insights into companies and markets through access to industry experts and market research.

Willkie’s cross-border, multidisciplinary deal team was led by partner Eduardo Fernandez in Paris and Matthew Dean in London, and included partners James Burns and Eugene Chang; UK partners Mark Fine, Judith Harger and Henrietta de Salis; counsel Paul Feldberg and associates Phillip Coletto, Gil Kiener, Alice Walton, Nicholas Jupp and Andrea de Vos.
