On November 8, it was announced that Willkie client EQT Expansion Capital II has sold Internetstores Holding GmbH (“internetstores”) to SIGNA Retail.

Internetstores is Europe’s leading e-commerce company in the bike and outdoor category. Supported by EQT since 2012, internetstores has strengthened its position as the leading European online retailer for bike and outdoor by emphasizing technology and logistics as well as through a systematic focus on efficient internationalization.

EQT is a leading global private equity group with approximately €30 billion in raised capital.
