Becker will acquire the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) for $330 million.

On May 24, Becker Professional Education announced that it will acquire the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) from Warburg Pincus for $330 million. Willkie represented Warburg Pincus and ACAMS in connection with the proposed transaction.

ACAMS is the largest international membership organization dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention professionals. Becker is a global leader in professional education and a subsidiary of DeVry Education Group.

Warburg Pincus LLC is a leading global private equity firm with more than $40 billion in private equity assets under management.

The deal was handled by partners Steven Gartner, Morgan Elwyn, Manuel Miranda, Eugene Chang, Michael Katz, Hillel Jacobson and Christopher Peters; associates Jonathan Kubek, Lindsay Reed and Kapiljeet Dargan; and law clerks Preeta Reddy and Peter Coulson.
