The Bloomberg – JFK Airport Park Solar Project will enable Bloomberg L.P.'s global headquarters in midtown Manhattan and its downtown data center to partially convert to clean solar energy.

On September 16, Willkie client Bloomberg L.P. and EnterSolar announced the launch of The Bloomberg – JFK Airport Park Solar Project, a state-of-the-art large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) project that will enable Bloomberg L.P.'s global headquarters in midtown Manhattan and its downtown data center to partially convert to clean solar energy.

The Bloomberg – JFK Airport Park Solar Project is the largest remote net metered project in New York City and is the first to use remote net metering to power a midtown Manhattan skyscraper with a remotely-sited solar PV system.

The transaction was handled by an interdisciplinary group of Willkie attorneys from the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Departments, including partners Maurice Lefkort and Thomas Henry and associates Delano Ladd, Justin Elliot and Jennifer DiNicola.
