Metro Fund purchases 1177 Avenue of the Americas from Willkie client Paramount Group, Inc.
On December 20, Metro Fund LLC purchased 1177 Avenue of the Americas from Willkie client Paramount Group, Inc. for a purchase price in excess of $1 billion. 1177 Avenue of the Americas is a stately, 47-story, Class A, granite office tower located between 45th and 46th Streets. Paramount Group, New York’s largest international real estate investment and management firm, presently owns approximately 12 million square feet of Class A office buildings in midtown and downtown Manhattan as well as in Washington, D.C., Rosslyn, Virginia and San Francisco. The deal was handled by partners Eugene Pinover and Thomas Henry, and associates Jeremy Feit and Kate Rawsthorne.
