On February 3 at 2 pm PST, Willkie Intellectual Property partner Matthew Makover will speak on the panel “Tokenizing Creativity: Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Intellectual Property” as part of the 2022 AIPLA Mid-Winter Institute.
Matthew will speak on the area of “Basics of NFT, Blockchain and Smart Contracts.” As a whole, this panel will explore the origins of Digital Tokens/NFTs, their current applications and uses, and the legal challenges and future potential legal issues that may arise as they continue to gain acceptance.
