Lior Ohayon and William Stellmach to speak at the IBA’s 19th Annual International Conference on Private Investment Funds.

Partner Lior Ohayon will speak at a workshop session entitled “Key Trends Relating to Private Equity Funds.”  The workshop will focus on key trends in structuring and negotiating private equity funds. Among the topics Mr. Ohayon and his co-speakers will address is the increasing desire to raise long-term capital. Participants will contrast the viewpoints of fund managers and investors, including with respect to co-investments, exculpation and indemnification, governance, economics, advisory boards and transparency.

Partner William J. Stellmach will speak at a plenary session entitled “Current Trends in Litigation and Regulatory Actions Involving Private Investment Funds.” The session will focus on recent regulatory and enforcement initiatives aimed at managers and the funds they advise, and on litigation brought by private investors and regulators. Mr. Stellmach and his co-panelists will also consider the potential liability of legal and chief compliance officers.  

Additionally, partner Barry Barbash is serving as Co-Chair of the conference.
