It was announced that Willkie Chicago has been named a 2026 “Regional Powerhouse” by Law360, highlighting its impact as one of the leading full-service firms in Illinois.
Law360 selected Willkie as one of the firms that are driving legal and business trends in Illinois, and will profile the Chicago office as part of the “Regional Powerhouse” series. Willkie Chicago was previously recognized as a “Regional Powerhouse” in 2023.
Willkie Chicago has grown to approximately 130 lawyers since Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Americas, launched the office with five other partners in 2020. The office, one of the largest and fastest-growing in Chicago, has built out its transactional platform in recent years – including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, asset management, finance, and strategic capital and restructuring practices – to complement its trials, investigations capabilities, IP litigation strengths, and its premier private wealth group.
