Willkie partner Tyler Born has been named to Law Bulletin Media’s “40 Under Forty 2026,” an annual series by the publisher of Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin honoring the top attorneys in Illinois under the age of 40.
Tyler was recognized as one of Chicago’s rising corporate attorneys and next-generation dealmakers. He excels at structuring, negotiating and managing complex transactions for private equity sponsors, publicly traded companies and privately held businesses. The profile highlighted his experience advising Blue Wolf Capital Partners on its $1.2 billion take-private acquisition of LOGISTEC and the subsequent sale of LOGISTEC’s marine services division to Enstructure, among other major transactions.
