Willkie partner Laura Leigh Geist, Co-Managing Partner of the San Francisco office, has been named to Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in California.
Laura was recognized as one of the most accomplished litigators and trial attorneys in California for consumer class action defense. She has significant experience in life insurance and financial services litigation and excels in defending Fortune 500 companies as well as rising InsurTech and FinTech companies in unfair competition, false advertising and securities class actions. Her practice includes defending regulatory and governmental actions in parallel with civil litigation.
Daily Journal highlighted her effective advocacy and strategic skills as well as her ability to approach complex issues from multiple perspectives to find solutions for her clients.
“I have always loved telling a compelling story, enjoy everything about learning and understanding how people and organizations work and interact, and I still get excited when I figure out ‘what happened and why,’ and then get to solve the problem,” Laura told Daily Journal. “In the end, that is litigation.”
