Willkie partners Laura Delanoy and Kathy Wunderli won top honors at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026, an annual awards program recognizing the leading women lawyers across a wide range of jurisdictions and practice areas.
Laura was named "North America Private Equity Lawyer of the Year." She is widely recognized as a leading dealmaker and handles multibillion-dollar transactions on behalf of public and private companies across a variety of industries. Laura’s practice includes complex and transformational M&A as well as capital markets transactions involving public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. She is Co-Chair of Willkie’s Environmental, Social & Governance practice.
Kathy was named "Emerging Technology Leader of the Year." She advises a broad client base including entertainment industry leaders, closely held business owners, business managers, accountants, and nonprofits on a wide range of tax matters, including estate planning, probate and trust administration, and marital agreements. Kathy has helped develop legal technology tools that operationalize wealth-planning workflows used by major financial institutions. She is West Coast Co-Chair of Willkie's Private Wealth Group.
