Steven Seidman, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Corporate & Financial Services Department, Adam Turteltaub, Co-Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group, and partner Danielle Scalzo have been recognized by Crain’s New York Business as “Notable M&A Dealmakers 2025.”

The three partners, who all serve as members of Willkie’s Executive Committee, were named among the top deal attorneys who are “shaping M&A in New York” and profiled for their achievements and leadership high-profile transactions. Willkie is one of only three firms with three honorees, highlighting its strength as a market leader in M&A. 

Steven Seidman was recognized for guiding numerous landmark deals across a 35-year career at the forefront of the industry. Crain’s highlighted his success advising Metropolis Technologies in its $1.5 billion take-private acquisition of SP Plus Corporation, the largest M&A transaction by a venture capital-backed company in 2023, as well as Alleghany Corporation in its $11.6 billion acquisition by Berkshire Hathaway. He also recently advised Atlas Holdings in its acquisition of steel manufacturer EVRAZ North America. The profile noted that Steven has twice been honored by The American Lawyer as a “Dealmaker of the Year,” in 2024 and 2015.

Adam Turteltaub was selected as one of New York’s leading dealmakers, having recently guided a series of complex, multibillion-dollar transactions. Crain’s highlighted his recent representation of LS Power in its $12 billion sale of a power portfolio to NRG Energy, as well as his work advising NXMH on the $1.45 billion sale of Whitebridge Pet Brands’ North American cat feeding and pet treating business to General Mills.

Danielle Scalzo was recognized for her record of success advising major M&A transactions for public and private companies. Crain’s highlighted her representation of Interpublic Group in its acquisition by Omnicom, a deal valued in excess of $13 billion, as well as her role guiding Interpublic Group’s sale of Huge, a leading experience design and technology business, to AEA Investors. She also advised Jama Software and its controlling shareholder, Insight Partners, in the sale last year of Jama Software to Francisco Partners for $1.2 billion.
