A partner as of 2025, Genevieve first joined Willkie as a summer associate and became drawn to insurance work after joining a large insurance coverage case early in her career. In the article, she noted that she enjoys disentangling the complex problems facing the insurance industry, which reacts to various public and private risks as they arise.
Law360 highlighted her role in representing AIG companies against a bankruptcy trust successor to the pharmaceutical company Mallinckrodt, which involved a large number of parties and policies at issue.
In discussing her practice, Genevieve said that insurance work is always evolving. “We, in our insurance group at Willkie, are constantly grappling with novel coverage issues, and often in the context of some of the most urgent and important matters of our time, like the public health crisis that is the opioid epidemic."
