Willkie lawyers earned extensive recognitions in the 2026 editions of the Best Lawyers guides for France and Germany, including three “Lawyer of the Year” awards.
Willkie attorneys in France and Germany received 70 “Best Lawyer” recognitions across a wide array of practice areas and 28 “One to Watch” accolades, which recognize the industry’s rising stars. Notably, three Willkie partners were recognized as the top practitioners in their respective fields.
- Nathalie Duguay, a partner in the Asset Management Department in Paris, was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Investment Funds
- Dr. Jörn Kowalewski, Co-Chair of Willkie’s European Restructuring Group based in Frankfurt, was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Restructuring and Insolvency Law
- Thierry Laloum, head of Willkie’s Public & Environmental Law practice in Paris, was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Public Finance Law
