Willkie partners Koren (Kori) Bell and Michele Mulrooney have been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s “2025 Women of Influence: Attorneys,” an annual supplement recognizing the top women practitioners in the L.A. market.
For the second year in a row, they were recognized for their leadership and achievements in the law and contributions to the broader the Los Angeles community.
Kori Bell, a partner in Willkie’s Litigation Department, was recognized as one of the leading white-collar defense and trial attorneys in the region. Kori’s practice focuses on high-stakes trials, white-collar criminal defense, and investigations. LABJ noted her record of success in high-profile trials and appeals, including before the U.S. Supreme Court. The publication also noted that she is widely recognized as a top litigator, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Michele Mulrooney, Co-Chair of Willkie’s National Private Wealth Group, was recognized as a go-to trusts and estates lawyer. The publication noted that she has more than 30 years’ experience representing high-net-worth individuals and families in sophisticated estate planning matters. In addition, the profile noted that Michele has also served as general counsel to A-list talent and high-net-worth individuals, providing advice regarding investment advisers, employees, and business investments.
