Willkie partners Krista Schwartz and Tiffany Lee have been named to Daily Journal’s “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers 2024,” an annual report recognizing the preeminent intellectual property lawyers in California.

Krista Schwartz, a partner in the Intellectual Property Department and Co-Chair of Willkie’s IP Litigation Practice Group, was again recognized as a top IP litigator and trial attorney. Daily Journal noted her experience representing some of the world’s largest technology companies in patent, copyright, trade secret and complex IP cases. It highlighted Krista’s recent success defeating a large number of patent assertions brought against the customers of a leading electronic design automation company. She brought a successful declaratory judgment against the non-practicing entity that had launched more than 90 patent infringement suits against her client and its customers, securing “a complete defense victory.” 

Tiffany Lee, a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and Managing Partner of the firm’s Palo Alto office, was recognized as one of the technology industry’s leading transactional lawyers. Daily Journal highlighted her wide variety of work with marquee clients across the electronics, semiconductor, social and information technology and biopharmaceutical industries on cutting-edge IP transactions. In particular, the profile noted her role representing leading technology companies in the areas of quantum computing, next-generation data centers, semiconductor IP and artificial intelligence – and emphasized the creative thinking that helps drive deals at forefront of the industry.
