Willkie and its Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Kim Walker have been shortlisted for honors at the inaugural LMG DEI Awards 2024: Americas, which recognizes “significant strides firms have taken towards building a more diverse and inclusive legal profession, as well as developing the legal community at large.”
The firm is shortlisted in the “Firm/Policy” category for its demonstrative commitment to furthering diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and overall “dedication to creating an environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work.”
Kim Walker, Willkie’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, has been shortlisted in the “DEI Leader” category for her extraordinary leadership in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging both at Willkie and across the legal profession. Kim is also a partner in the Intellectual Property Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
The honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on June 20.
