Andrew Gray, a partner in Willkie’s Private Equity Practice Group in London, has been named a “2023 Private Equity Rising Star” by Law.com International, an award recognizing the top 25 private equity lawyers under age 40 across the UK and Europe.
Andy was recognized as one of the most accomplished and highly regarded private equity attorneys of his generation. The publication highlighted his success as a dealmaker and in helping to build Willkie’s private equity practice in London into a market leader, an experience he described as “hugely rewarding.”
The profile noted Andy’s work for a premier client base that includes Bain Capital, CapVest Partners and Searchlight Capital Partners. It also noted that he has spearheaded more than 20 major transactions this year, including advising CapVest on its acquisition of Kerridge Commercial Systems from Accel-KKR.
