Indranil (Indy) Mukerji, Chair of Willkie's Technology Patent Litigation Practice Group, has been named among the 25 “Best Patent Litigators of 2023” by IP analytics company Patexia Inc.
In a comprehensive industry survey, Indy has been recognized among the patent litigators who “have demonstrated their prowess, ascending to the upper echelon in their respective fields.” Patexia identified the most successful attorneys based on an independent five-year study of district court patent cases, from July 2017 to June 2022, that featured 16,585 litigators who acted as counsel for either plaintiffs or defendants.
Patexia ranked Indy among the foremost defense counsel in patent infringement cases. He was noted for handling 45 cases over the five-year period for marquee tech clients including Microsoft, Apple and Samsung. In addition to recognizing his record of success in high-stakes litigation, the publication noted his efficient case management, a strength that was emphasized in a testimonial from another top patent litigator at an international law firm.
