Chicago-based associate Ren-How Harn has been selected as a 2023 LCLD Fellow.  The LCLD Fellows Program connects high-potential attorneys with general counsel and managing partners for a year-long, multi-tiered professional development series.  The program is designed to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s top law firms and corporate legal departments.  LCLD selected Ren based on Willkie’s nomination.  Past Fellows include partners Anne Choe, Melanie Medina and Isabel Araujo, and counsel Emerson Girardeau.

In addition, the Firm selected New York-based associate Deanna Clugston and law clerk Ajani Brown to serve as 2023 LCLD Pathfinders.  The LCLD Pathfinder Program is designed to provide early-career, high-potential attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging professional networks through relationship-building and leadership skills and career development strategies.  Recent Pathfinders include associates Kyle Mathews and Serge Agbre (Washington), Camille Grant (New York), Dhananjay Adusumilli (Los Angeles) and Argemira Florez (San Francisco).  Ren also served as a Pathfinder in 2021.

LCLD is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have dedicated themselves to creating a diverse U.S. legal profession. In addition to the Fellows and Pathfinders Programs, Willkie participates in the 1L LCLD Scholars Program in partnership with several Firm clients. Chairman Matthew Feldman serves as the Firm’s managing partner member of LCLD.

Additionally, Willkie has been honored four times with the LCLD Compass Award in recognition of the Firm’s dedication to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
