Tiffany is recognized among the top female business leaders in Silicon Valley.

Partner Tiffany Lee has been profiled as one of the “2022 Women of Influence” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The series recognizes the female business leaders in Silicon Valley who are making an impact in their respective industries and communities.

In a Q&A profile, Tiffany, a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and Managing Partner of Willkie’s Palo Alto office, discussed her development as a prominent technology transactions lawyer and her leadership goals in the years ahead.

She highlighted her focus on continuing to grow Willkie’s Palo Alto office, which she helped launch in December 2018, and cultivate the careers of female and diverse attorneys to leadership positions.

Tiffany also discussed the mentors at Willkie and beyond that have been instrumental to her success, noting the impact in particular of Edith Shih, executive director and former general counsel of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, and Matthew D. Berger, Chair of Willkie’s IP, Technology & Commercial Transactions Practice.

“I started working with him in 2008 and in addition to learning all my practical legal skills and knowledge from him, from early in my career as a mid-level associate, he opened many opportunities for me,” Tiffany told the publication. “This enabled me to start building close relationships with clients.”

Tiffany’s practice focuses on a wide array of sophisticated technology transactions and includes counseling and advising clients on intellectual property issues. She has excelled as a dealmaker for leading companies across the life sciences, healthcare, electronics, semiconductor, and media and entertainment industries.

The award also recognizes Tiffany’s impact as a mentor and a driving force for diversity in the legal profession. In addition to having a prominent role in Willkie’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs, she serves on the board of the Korn Ferry Charitable Foundation, which founded Leadership U for Humanity, a leadership program for professionals of color and underrepresented populations. Tiffany was also appointed by the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California as a diversity leader and served on the 2020-2021 Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation for the State of California, which assists the Governor in the judicial selection process.

Tiffany and the other “2022 Women of Influence” were honored at an award ceremony on June 16.
