Willkie has been named to the National Law Journal’s Pro Bono Hot List, which recognizes “law firms that have led the way on access to justice.”

Willkie is recognized for its exceptional results on behalf of pro bono clients in a wide array of matters that address today’s most critical issues, including religious freedoms, gender and reproductive issues, disabilities, immigration, ethnicity and social mobility. This past year, Willkie’s pro bono efforts included assisting individuals and businesses affected by COVID-19 in addition to longstanding critical work fighting for racial justice, voter protection and transgender rights.

In 2020, more than 65% of Willkie’s U.S. attorneys billed over 20 hours to pro bono, with an average of 62 hours per lawyer.

Pro Bono Hot List winners and other honorees will be recognized at the National Law Journal Awards on October 20 in Washington, D.C.
