Partner Joseph Minias was one of only 12  lawyers under the age of 40 to be named a 2015 Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer by Turnarounds & Workouts. He had previously received such honors in 2009.

The leading bankruptcy, restructuring, and distressed investing industry publication cited Mr. Minias’ work in extremely complicated transactions on behalf of  Stanford Financial Group, the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities SIPA case (BLMIS), and Arcapita cases. It also noted he was restructuring counsel to the board of OSUS SPV, holding the largest allowed claim in a BLMIS case (in excess of $1.5 billion), and represented an ad hoc group of first lien lenders in Koosharem Corporation, and debtholders in Endeavour, Genco, and TXU restructurings.

The honorees, who are considered leaders in their practice, were selected by Turnarounds & Workouts’ editorial staff based on  recent representations and achievements, and from nominations received from leading restructuring attorneys nationwide.
