Business Reorganization and Restructuring partner Rachel Strickland was recognized as an "Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyer -- 2013" in Turnarounds & Workouts magazine’s annual special report. The report features a short list of the country’s top restructuring attorneys under 40. Ms. Strickland was profiled for her accomplishments, including spearheading two successful prepackaged bankruptcies on behalf of Broadview Networks and Otelco Inc. T&W highlights that in Broadview, Ms. Strickland “led the client through a 43-day case from filing through confirmation and overcame objections posed by Icahn Enterprises.” She was also lauded for waging a successful valuation fight for preferred equity in the Smurfit Stone bankruptcy and for obtaining significant recoveries for secured lenders in the Aleris and Quiznos bankruptcy cases. Ms. Strickland was previously recognized in T&W’s 2012, 2010 and 2006 reports.
