Alessandro Turina is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department and Co-Chair of the Firm's Structured Finance & Derivatives Practice Group. He advises several major financial institutions, investment advisers, mutual funds and hedge funds as well as other corporate entities as either providers or end users of structured and derivative products.

Structured Products
Alessandro represents hedge funds, investment banks and issuers in the securitization and financing of diverse asset classes ranging from mortgage loans to film libraries. He represents hedge funds investing in complex structured facilities and companies engaging in whole business securitizations. Alessandro also represents managers and investors in CDO and CDO-Squared structural and management issues and advises on residential mortgage backed securities put-back issues.

Derivatives
Alessandro represents hedge funds, operating companies and investment banks in the negotiation of swap transactions ranging from interest rate hedges to total rate of return swaps.  He also advises clients that are protection sellers or buyers in credit default swaps with respect to their rights and obligations under such contracts.
