Miroslav Tomo is a partner in Willkie’s Corporate & Financial Services Department and Private Equity Practice Group. He is based in the Firm’s London office.
Miro represents sovereign wealth funds and leading financial sponsors on cross-border public and private M&A, private equity and corporate transactions across numerous sectors, with a focus on real estate and infrastructure.
He advises clients on joint ventures, minority investments, carve-outs, shareholder and co-investment matters and management equity plans. He has extensive experience guiding clients on complex data center and digital infrastructure transactions.
Miro is fluent in English, Czech, German and Slovak.

- GIC:
- Alongside CPPIB and Equinix to co-invest in a $15 billion digital infrastructure platform;
- On the £694 million acquisition of a 75% stake in the majority of Paddington Central assets from British Land;
- On its $525 million joint venture with Equinix to develop and operate two xScale™ data centers in South Korea;
- On its $3.9 billion additional joint ventures with Equinix to expand the xScale™ data center program;
- On the over $1 billion co-investment with Equinix to develop and operate xScale™ data centers in Japan;
- On the acquisition of a number of data centers in France and Ireland;
- On the €950 million buyout acquisition of a pan-European logistics platform from a leading global altenative investment manager;

- Extreme Reach on the acquisition of Adstream, a leading global provider of digital asset management, creative logistics and analytics solutions.
- Nordic Capital on the equity and co-investment aspects of its recommended cash offer for Advanz Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical company with a strategic focus on complex medicines in Europe.
- Carlyle International Energy Partners on its acquisition of EnerMech Group, a leading global provider of full life cycle asset integrity management solutions for energy, industrial and infrastructure applications, from Lime Rock.
- One of the world’s largest alternative asset managers on its successful public takeover bid of Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios SOCIMI SA (Hispania), a Spanish property company listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange, in a deal that values the company at over €3 billion, and the prior stake-building acquisition of 16.56% of Hispania from a family office and global asset manager.
- Vista and its portfolio company Advanced on the acquisition of Docman, the market leading electronic document management, workflow and information sharing platform provider to primary and secondary care services.
- Pamplona Capital Management on the sale of Partner in Pet Food (‘PPF’), a market-leading European pet food company headquartered in Hungary, to Cinven.
- KKR and its portfolio company, Selecta Group, on the acquisition of Pelican Rouge Group B.V.
- HgCapital on the disposal of Zitcom Group, a leading Danish hosting and cloud solutions provider in Denmark, to Intelligent.
