Tara L. Thieme is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department. Tara's practice focuses on patent litigation, as well as client counseling on intellectual property issues that arise in transactions, including licensing, research and development, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy. Tara's litigation experience encompasses an array of technologies, with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
Tara previously interned for Administrative Law Judge Thomas Pender of the International Trade Commission. Tara also previously worked as a patent agent, prosecuting patents in a wide variety of fields, including chemical refining, medical devices, batteries, and electronics.
Tara is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
