Luca Taverna is an Of Counsel at the Milan office of Studio Legale Delfino e Associati – Italian affiliate of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

He assists Italian and foreign companies as well as private investors in various areas of corporate law, mainly in cross-border transactions – including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals – but also in litigation proceedings before the judiciary or arbitration panels. 

Luca’s practice includes a wide spectrum of high-profile transactions in different industry sectors, among which steel, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, banking, gasket and compound.

He also advises companies in the context of compliance measures aimed at preventing white-collar offences and penalties, including models of organization and management.

Luca is fluent in Italian and English.

 

Experience

Prior to rejoining Delfino e Associati Willkie Farr & Gallagher in 2022, Luca Taverna collaborated with the law firm Lombardi e Molinari Associati further specializing in in mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity, advising domestic and foreign corporations and private equity funds on several deals. Notable deals include the sale of an international food packaging company’s branch of business and related brands ,the acquisition of a spice and seasoning company by a private equity fund, and the purchase of assets organized for the running of depositary bank activities by an interbank services provider. Drafted and negotiated business contracts.
