Dr. Schmidt' practice focuses on transnational litigation, arbitration, compliance and enforcement. He has substantial experience acting as counsel in complex disputes, covering a broad range of practice areas, including capital markets and antitrust litigation as well as shareholder disputes. He regularly defends clients in mass litigation forming a legal defense strategy and providing litigation risk analyses. 

He also advises clients in enforcement matters, including EU sanctions, requiring a holistic approach and careful consideration of foreign jurisdictions. 

Dr. Schmidt speaks English and German.
