Amy Orlov is an associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department, based in the firm’s Chicago Office. Amy’s practice encompasses complex commercial litigation, class actions, ERISA, contract disputes, data privacy, and internal investigations. She has experience representing high-profile clients across a wide range of industries, such as financial, insurance, entertainment, technology, franchise development, and transportation. Amy represents clients in both federal and state courts and regularly briefs dispositive and other high-stakes motions. She also has experience taking depositions, managing discovery, and representing clients at trial. Additionally, Amy is a member of Willkie’s labor and employment team, and she regularly advises clients on legal issues affecting the workplace.

Amy’s extensive pro bono practice includes representing clients in civil rights matters, with a focus on combatting antisemitism, protecting voting rights, and defending rights for the LGBTQ+ community. She is also an associate leader for Willkie’s Women’s Professional Development Committee. Outside of Willkie, Amy serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish United Fund of Chicago, and she recently served as the Chair of the organization’s Young Lawyers Committee.

Amy received her J.D. with highest honors from the George Washington University Law School, where she served as an Online Editor for the George Washington Law Review and President of the Moot Court Board. Amy received a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Michigan. 

Experience

Amy serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, and she also serves as the Chair of the organization’s Young Lawyers Committee.
