Abigail Mummey is an associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department. She has represented clients in complex disputes across substantive areas, with experience drafting significant dispositive motions, overseeing discovery, and preparing clients for depositions. Her work spans federal court, state court, and alternative dispute resolution.
Abigail maintains an active pro bono practice. She has prepared for and participated in a pro bono asylum hearing and has represented clients in criminal proceedings.
Abigail received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as president of Wolverine Street Law, an organization that provides legal education to incarcerated individuals. She earned a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture from the University of Maryland.
