Meredith Mayer-Dempsey is a senior associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department. She brings twelve years of public service experience, during which she served as lead counsel in more than 30 jury and 50 bench trials, argued numerous motions and appeals, and litigated complex, novel issues of law in federal and state courts. As Deputy Chief in the United States Attorney’s Office, Federal Major Crimes Section, she provided strategic guidance on charging decisions, trial preparation, written advocacy, and case resolution; led trainings on federal practice; and led investigative teams from numerous federal agencies.
At Willkie, Meredith represents clients in complex litigation and government-facing matters. Drawing on her extensive experience as a federal prosecutor, Meredith brings a practical, courtroom-tested perspective that informs strategy from the outset and helps clients achieve favorable results.
