Simone Laverdiere is an associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department in Chicago. Simone’s practice encompasses all phases of complex litigation in a variety of substantive areas, including class action, commercial, data privacy, fiduciary, and white collar matters. She represents clients in both federal and state courts, drafting high-stakes pleadings, briefing motions, and managing fact discovery.

Simone maintains an active and diverse pro bono practice with a focus on immigration matters and civil rights litigation. She also counsels nonprofits and advises municipalities on policy reform initiatives.

Simone received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the University of Chicago Law Review. She graduated with Pro Bono Honors and served as a student attorney in the Global Human Rights Clinic. Simone received her B.A. in Government and Legal Studies as well as Francophone Studies from Bowdoin College.
