Nikita Kumar is a partner in Willkie’s Restructuring Department. She is based in the Firm’s London office.
Nikita counsels clients on domestic and cross-border stressed and distressed situations, including debt restructurings and liability management exercises. She has represented a variety of stakeholders, including creditors, debtors, sponsors and insolvency practitioners, on various restructuring matters. Nikita also has significant experience advising funds on private credit restructurings.

- Certain funds advised by KKR Credit as second lien lenders to the Wittur group in relation to its financial restructuring, involving €1bn of debt
- Funds managed by Pemberton Capital Advisers in relation to its private credit investment including its comprehensive financial restructuring and debt-for-equity swap
