Erik is an associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on government and internal investigations, as well as complex commercial disputes. 

Erik regularly represents individuals, boards, and companies in response to government enforcement actions and inquiries, including those brought by the SEC, DOJ, CFTC, and DOL, and writes extensively on developments in the securities enforcement space. He has assisted clients across a range of industries in navigating crisis responses, including cybersecurity breaches and potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Erik also has significant experience litigating Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act cases, obtaining meaningful recoveries for hundreds of Gold Star families.

Erik maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on immigration and veteran-facing matters.
