Jessica Flynn is an associate in Willkie's Restructuring Department and is based in the Firm's New York office.
Jessica represents official creditors' committees, debtors, court appointed examiners, secured lenders, and post confirmation trustees in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out of court restructurings. Her practice spans a range of industries, including aviation, energy, retail, and financial services, and she has significant experience advising clients in complex cross border restructuring matters. Jessica also has experience assisting trustees and fiduciaries in investigating and monetizing estate assets for the benefit of creditors.
Experience
- In re Azul S.A.: (Bankr. S.D.N.Y.) Counsel to the official committee of unsecured creditors in the chapter 11 restructuring of Azul S.A., a leading Brazilian airline. Azul’s plan of reorganization, built around three separate restructuring support agreements and a settlement with the UCC, significantly deleveraged the company, enhanced liquidity and operations, and preserved vendor relationships and over 15,000 Azul crewmember jobs. Azul emerged from bankruptcy protection on February 20, 2026.
