Zeh S. Ekono is a partner in the Litigation Department and a member of the Securities Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex financial litigation, with an emphasis on securities class actions and derivative litigation. Zeh has extensive experience representing public companies and underwriters in federal and state securities litigation, boards of directors in high profile matters, and corporations in complex commercial disputes. She also regularly represents companies in confidential internal corporate investigations and in regulatory investigations.
Zeh was recognized by the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide for her work in Litigation, White Collar, and Enforcement.

- In re AdaptHealth Securities Class Action Litigation (E.D. Pa.) – Representing AdaptHealth and its officers and directors in a securities class action brought by investors challenging the adequacy of various disclosures, and in a related derivative action.
- In re New York Community Bancorp Litigation (E.D.N.Y. and N.Y. Cty.) – Representing the outside directors of New York Community Bancorp in federal and state securities and derivative litigations relating to alleged loan valuation issues.
- In re Oscar Health Securities Litigation (S.D.N.Y.) – Represented Goldman Sachs & Co. and several other underwriters in purported securities class action litigation filed in connection with Oscar Health’s 2021 IPO. Obtained dismissal of all claims asserted against the underwriters.
- In re Uber Technologies IPO Securities Litigation (N.D. Cal.; Cal. Super. Ct.) – Represented 30 underwriters, including Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, in purported securities class action litigation filed in connection with Uber’s $8.1 billion IPO.
- Delaware County v. AdaptHealth et al. (E.D. Pa.) – Represented AdaptHealth and its officers and directors in a securities class action brought by investors challenging the adequacy of various disclosures, and in a related derivative action.
- Construction Laborers Pension Trust for S. Cal. v. CBS Corporation, et al. (S.D.N.Y.) – Represented CBS Corporation in a putative class action alleging securities violations related to allegations of wrongdoing by former CEO Leslie Moonves.
- In re Liberty Tax Securities Litigation (E.D.N.Y.) – Represented Liberty Tax in class action securities litigation arising from the disclosure of alleged #MeToo allegations and alleged corporate mismanagement. Obtained dismissal of all claims.
- In re Clovis Oncology Securities Litigation (D. Colo.) – Represented the company and its officers and directors in opt out securities class action litigation following an FDA announcement concerning product efficacy.
Derivative Litigation
- In re Wells Fargo & Company Hiring Practices Derivative Litigation (N.D. Cal.) – Representing the independent directors of Wells Fargo in derivative litigation asserting claims for breach of fiduciary duties, declaratory relief, accounting, and violations of the federal securities laws in connection with the Board's alleged failure to monitor Wells Fargo's allegedly discriminatory lending and hiring practices.
- Himstreet v. Scharf et al. (Cal. Super. Ct.) – Representing the independent directors of Wells Fargo in derivative litigation asserting claims for breach of fiduciary duties, waste of corporate assets, and unjust enrichment related to the Board's alleged failure to monitor Wells Fargo's compliance with various regulatory consent orders.
- In re Stanadyne Litigation (Del. Ch.) – Represented the former outside directors of Stanadyne PPT Group Holdings Inc. in connection with a Delaware Chancery Court action alleging breach of fiduciary duties.
- Pompano Beach General Employees’ Retirement System v. Scharf et al. (Del. Ch.) – Represented the independent directors of Wells Fargo in securing the dismissal of a shareholder derivative litigation asserting claims for breach of fiduciary duties related to the Board's alleged failure to implement a monitoring system for Wells Fargo's allegedly discriminatory hiring practices. Obtained dismissal of all claims.
