April Doxey is a partner in Willkie’s Finance Department. She is based in the Firm’s Chicago office.

Her practices spans both performing credit and the finance dimensions of in-court and out-of-court work outs and restructurings.

- Represented Koppers, Inc. in connection with various financings, including an $800 million revolving credit facility and $400 million term loan “B” facility.
- Represented Motorola Solutions, Inc. in connection with its $2.25 billion revolving credit facility and related financing matters.
- Represented a leading global financial services firm, a global investment bank and financial services holding company, and an American multinational financial services firm and investment bank as lead arrangers of a broadly syndicated $1.05 billion Term Loan B facility to refinance the acquisition bridge debt of a leading manufacturer of golf apparel and equipment.
- Represented a leading global financial services firm, as agent, in connection with the $3.0 billion revolving credit facility of Illinois Tool Works, Inc.
- Advised the joint lead managers and bookrunners for US$415 million 8.5% Senior Secured Notes due 2020 issued by STATS ChipPAC Ltd., as a portion of overall bank-bond deal to recapitalize STATS ChipPAC Ltd.’s capital structure.
- Represented the dealers and underwriters on the establishment of a US$15 billion Global Medium Term Notes program and a $5 billion offering of bonds and sukuk certificates by Malaysia’s state-owned oil and gas company, Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS). The transaction was the largest G3 issuance – denominated in dollars, yen and euros – by a Southeast Asian company at the time.
- Advised PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk in connection with an S$180 million bond offering by Protelindo Finance B.V., its subsidiary, pursuant to Regulation S. The bond was guaranteed by the Asian Development Bank’s Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility.
- Advised Pan Majestic Eagle Limited (PAMEL), an independent provider of telecoms infrastructure in Myanmar, in the first ever non-recourse, cross-border financing in Myanmar. PAMEL was awarded “Project Finance Deal of the Year” by International Financial Law Review (IFLR), “Finance Deal of the Year” by Asian Lawyer, and the “Asia Pacific Telecoms Award” by IJ Global.
- Advised PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk, one of the largest industrial real estate developers in Indonesia, in connection with a concurrent offering of US$56 million of 7.5% Guaranteed Senior Notes due 2019 and an exchange offering of US$133 million Guaranteed Senior Notes due 2017.
- Represented Tata Steel Limited on the issue of US$1.5 billion notes under English law issued by a finance subsidiary guaranteed by Tata Steel Limited. Winner of India Business Law Journal “2014 Deal of the Year.”
