Almahdi Coker advises asset managers and investment firms on UK and EU financial services regulation. An associate in Willkie’s London Asset Management practice, he has particular experience with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and the wider regulatory regimes governing the sector.

His work encompasses the regulatory considerations involved in establishing and structuring funds, developing marketing and distribution arrangements, and obtaining or varying regulatory permissions.
