Henry M. Cohn, a senior counsel in the Tax Department, focuses on federal income tax matters, including tax treatment of partnerships, real estate matters (including real estate investment trusts), mergers and acquisitions, offshore and U.S. insurance companies, and bankruptcy reorganizations.


Henry is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He recently authored "FIRPTA Reform Legislation Would Encourage Foreign Investment in REITs," AFIRE News (Fall 2011).
