Andrew Bean is a partner in Willkie’s Litigation Department. He is based in the Dallas office.

Andrew advises clients on all phases of complex commercial litigation, from pre-litigation through appeal. Andrew has significant experience with all aspects of discovery, briefing, and hearings on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Andrew represents clients across the country in varied industries on a wide range of legal matters.

  • Coordinated and led complex discovery workstreams while representing a midstream oil and gas company that ultimately resulted in a favorable jury verdict for over $600 million in damages for trespass, defamation, and tortious interference with a contract claims.
  • Defended a video game retailer against tens of millions of dollars in breach of contract claims brought by a national consulting firm.
  • Represented a national heavy machinery rental company in various trade secrets cases in state courts across the country and in a federal multi-district litigation.
  • Represented a financial technology company in a lawsuit against the Federal Trade Commission for alleged deceptive and unfair practices.
  • Represented an international consulting firm in an arbitration defending against employment discrimination claims.
  • Represented an oil and gas company against claims for overtime wages and other damages under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Represented a title insurance and property valuations company against a claim for $80 million in attorney’s fees.
  • Represented an estate against a claim for $20 million in attorneys’ fees after the case was remanded from the Texas Supreme Court.
  • Successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of a plaintiff beverage distribution company for breach of contract and tortious interference claims against other beverage companies.
  • Successfully defeated a request to appoint a receiver to take over the client’s hotel operations in Texas Business Court.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of plaintiff national pharmacy for breach of contract claims. 
  • Represented national pharmacy on behalf of plaintiff national pharmacy on tortious interference claims against a competing pharmacy in Wisconsin federal court.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of plaintiff in real estate dispute and successfully upheld judgment on appeal.
