Steven is an associate in Willkie’s Litigation Department. His practice includes representing clients in white collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation, and he also has represented clients in navigating criminal trials to secure favorable verdicts.

Most recently, he was part of the trial team that secured an acquittal on all counts for Tom Barrack, founder of Colony Capital, in a highly publicized trial alleging illegal foreign lobbying, obstruction of justice, and other charges. He was also part of the team that successfully represented Jean Boustani against charges of wire fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering over an alleged $2 billion securities fraud and kickback scheme involving Mozambique state-backed loans.

Steven’s experience also extends into the general commercial litigation space, having represented CBS Corporation in a securities class action arising from allegations of sexual misconduct by former CBS CEO Les Moonves.

In 2020, Steven worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward R. Korman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
