New York, NY (September 9, 2026) – Willkie today announced that Sean Sandoloski has rejoined the Firm as a partner in the Litigation Department. He is based in the Washington, D.C. office.
Sean most recently served as law clerk to Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh at the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to that, Sean was counsel in Willkie’s Litigation Department. Earlier in his career, he served in various senior roles in the White House and Department of Justice.

Sean’s practice focuses on government investigations, including those undertaken by Congress and State Attorneys General, in addition to complex litigation and appeals. He regularly helps clients navigate high-stakes, fast-moving matters, advising clients on strategic and regulatory issues. Sean also has extensive experience with administrative and antitrust law.
While in government, Sean served at the highest levels of the Executive Branch, advising on a range of litigation and policy matters. He also served in the Appellate Section of the DOJ’s Antitrust Division, representing the United States in the courts of appeals, and advising leadership on criminal and civil enforcement as well as complex issues of federal law. Sean previously clerked for Judge Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
