Willkie is representing Veeam Software, the #1 global leader by market share in data resilience and portfolio company of Insight Partners, in its acquisition of Securiti AI, a leader in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) that also spans privacy, governance, access, and AI trust across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS platforms, for $1.725 billion.
On October 21, Veeam announced it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Securiti AI, the pioneer of the Data Command Center, a platform that unifies data intelligence and security controls for data across the hybrid multi-cloud. Together, Veeam and Securiti will help customers understand their full data estate, while providing security, along with recovery and rollback, to unleash the value of their data for AI.
Willkie previously advised Insight Partners on its acquisition of Veeam in 2020, and represented Veeam in its subsequent acquisitions of Kasten and Coveware. The firm also represented Veeam in connection with a $2 billion secondary equity offering last year that valued the company at $15 billion.
