The Firm advised on the structuring of and fundraising for infrastructure fund focused on energy efficiency projects.

On July 7, Willkie client Demeter announced the first closing of its new Climate Infrastructure Fund dedicated to energy efficiency projects in France and Europe.

The Climate Infrastructure Fund has completed its first closing for €100 million, with a final target of €300 million. The fund is supported by leading investors Banque des Territoires, ADEME Investissement and PRO BTP, as well as mutual health organizations, banks, insurance companies and family offices.

This is the third infrastructure fund managed by Demeter, a leading venture capital and private equity investor focused on the ecological transition sector. The Climate Infrastructure Fund will provide private and public companies, governments and local authorities with financing for energy efficiency projects, including industrial energy efficiency, building efficiency, energy storage, green data centers and renewable energy projects.
