Willkie Chicago celebrated its opening and two-year anniversary with a reception for friends and clients of the firm at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Several hundred friends and clients enjoyed the summer evening and viewed the MCA’s highly-lauded Nick Cave retrospective exhibit, “Forothermore.”

Since opening in March 2020, Willkie Chicago has established itself as market leader for handling significant client matters and for their impactful and meaningful civic and philanthropic engagement. Today, Willkie Chicago is home to more than 60 lawyers all focused on providing clients with the best and most sophisticated legal advice. We are particularly proud not only of our exceptional client service and exponential growth, but also of our diverse team: half of the office’s partners are women and nearly one-third of lawyers are racially diverse. We attract top-tier lawyers, including a number of attorneys with “Rising Star,” “Trailblazer” and “Notable Leader” accolades.

Since opening, the Chicago office has cemented its reputation as a destination for high-stakes trial work and investigations in areas including antitrust, ERISA, patents, trade secrets, and more. In addition to our litigation prowess, Willkie Chicago is home to one of the region’s most robust private client practices, counseling ultra-high-net worth individuals and their families.

“At Willkie Chicago, we believe that every day is a new opportunity to deliver value and service that help clients meet their business goals,” said Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Midwest for Willkie. “Looking ahead, we’re doubling our office space in 2023 and expanding the breadth of our client services to include corporate restructuring, private equity, insurance, M&A, employee benefits, asset management and real estate.”

He continued: “We couldn’t have done it without our many clients and friends. We are grateful for your ongoing support.”
