New York, NY, June 24, 2022 --- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced today that Fabrice Veverka will join the Firm as a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department. He will be based in the Paris office.
Fabrice’s practice focuses on M&A transactions involving both listed and unlisted companies, on behalf of corporate clients and investment funds.
Fabrice has been involved in a number of significant M&A transactions in the French market in recent years. He recently advised Alstom on the sale of its Coradia Polyvalent platform, its Reichshoffen site and its TALENT 3 platform to the Spanish manufacturer CAF. He also advised Sony Music on the merger of Deezer with SPAC I2PO, which will lead to the IPO of Deezer.
He will strengthen Willkie’s stock exchange/public M&A practice in Paris, as he brings significant experience in public offerings, concerted actions and, more generally, the sale or acquisition of equity interests in listed companies.
“I am delighted to join Willkie, whose know-how and technical skills are widely recognized in the market. The Firm’s international presence will allow me to better serve my clients whose issues are increasingly cross border and multi-jurisdictional. I am looking forward to working with all the Firm’s teams, whose reputations for excellence are well established, and to offer my clients the benefit of the full range of Willkie’s skills and quality,” said Fabrice.
“We are very pleased to welcome Fabrice. His recruitment is part of our broader strategy to strengthen our European platform to advise our clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, stock exchange law, public offerings and, more broadly, listed activities. We share Fabrice's entrepreneurial spirit, high standards and collaborative approach, and are delighted to have him join our team,” commented Eduardo Fernandez and Christophe Garaud, co-managing partners of Willkie’s Paris office.
The Paris Corporate Department currently comprises 30 lawyers, including 11 partners, and handles some of the most strategic and significant M&A and private equity transactions on the French market.
