Willkie has been named a “Top International Law Firm” by Latinvex in its ninth annual ranking of Latin America’s leading law firms.
The publication again recognized Willkie among the foremost firms overall in the Latin America market and named it the top-ranked firm for the Insurance category. In addition, Willkie ranked among the top firms in Aviation (#4), Banking & Finance (#16), Corporate/M&A (#14), Energy (#15) and Project Finance (#10).
Notably, Willkie was recognized in three new categories this year – Aviation, Banking & Finance and Energy – in addition to climbing the rankings as one of the elite firms overall and in the Corporate/M&A and Project Finance categories.
Latinvex’s annual survey ranks the top international law firms in Latin America, both overall and in 17 subcategories, based on a combination of factors, including value, prominence and scope of work and references from clients and peers.
The rankings underscore the preeminence of Willkie’s Latin America practice and are the latest of many accolades for the Firm and its attorneys. Most recently, Latinvex recognized Willkie among the top international law firms for Latin America M&A transactions in 2021 and named partners Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza, Laura Friedrich and Anna Martini G. Pereira among “Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers.”
